Community Archives Survey 2007

About the Community Archives Survey 2007

To ensure the needs of community archives are being served effectively, the Community Archives Group at Archives New Zealand is inviting both established and emerging community archives to participate in the Community Archives Survey 2007.

The survey has several purposes, namely:

  • To better understand the needs of New Zealand community archives and the environment that they operate in. The Community Archives Group will then be able to shape the training and advice services they provide accordingly, as well as contribute to discussion and action across the sector as to how these needs could best be addressed
  • To inform the future development of the National Register of Archives and Manuscripts (NRAM)
  • To update the Directory of Archives in New Zealand

This is your chance to share some of the challenges you are facing, and your needs in this area. Your feedback will assist the Community Archives Group to develop a work programme that is useful to you. A summary of survey results will be circulated later this year.
